original purchase date. Versailles stores require valid identification when processing all returns
and exchanges without an original receipt. Valid identification is also required to receive or
redeem a non-transferable merchandise certificate or mail check.
Returns With an Original Sales Receipt

Store refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or a merchandise
exchange when returned within 90 days of the purchase date. Merchandise returned more than
90 days after the purchase date will not be eligible for a return.

Online refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or merchandise
exchange when returned within 90 days of the invoice date. A mail check may be issued when
original form of payment is unavailable for credit. An Options Giftcard will be issued when
original form of payment is a GiftCard.

A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt online or in stores.

*Versailles accepts your check by utilizing an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system. In
the event that the EFT or draft is returned unpaid (or, if a paper check is accepted, and
the check is returned for any reason), there will be a return fee, as permitted by State or
Federal law, of $20 or more (which may include fees, collection costs, and applicable state
taxes). This fee may be presented to your bank electronically or submitted via a paper draft.
Returns with a Gift Receipt

Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of an in-store merchandise certificate or
merchandise exchange for the price paid. Online refunds will be issued in the form of a gift
card or merchandise exchange for the price paid.

A gift receipt serves as proof of purchase price only for online and in stores.
Returns with a Gift Receipt

Online Refunds - Without the online invoice the customer will adhere to the return policy
stated in the store. Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate

Lost or Stolen GiftCards

To report a lost or stolen Versailles GiftCard, call (310) 841-2680. An original sales receipt or
gift receipt is required to replace the remaining balance of a lost or stolen Versailles Giftcard.
Returning or Exchanging Items by Mail
To return any Versailles Online purchase by mail:

Detach the top customer portion of the return form for your records.

Circle the item(s) that you are returning or exchanging on the bottom
portion of the return form and note the reason why.

Indicate if you want us to credit the card used to place the order
or send you a refund check. If you'd like an exchange, let us know what
you want by filling in the reverse side of the return form. We will pay
the costs for shipping the exchange order.

Circle the name and address where we should send the check or exchange.
If you want it sent to a different address, please complete the box on the
reverse side of the return form.

Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible,
and include the return form. We've provided a return label as part of the
return form. Packages must be returned prepaid -- we do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
Returning Items to a Versailles Store

You can return your order to any Versailles store in the U.S. -- even items that are sold exclusively
on Versailles Online. Please see store Return Policy sign for details. Use our store locator to find
a Versailles store near you.

Please make sure to bring the original invoice and the credit card used for the original purchase
(or gift receipt). Valid identification is required to process all returns and exchanges.

All store returns, exchanges, and price adjustments must be made in the country of original purchase.
Credit Card Refunds
On returns, we can only credit the credit card used for the original purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing
cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.
Standard Delivery
Standard orders are processed once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained. Orders shipped
via standard delivery typically arrive in four (4) to seven (7) business days (Monday through Friday, not including
holidays) for the United States, US Territories and P.O. boxes in Alaska and Hawaii. Please allow up to fourteen (14)
business days for shipments to A.P.O. and F.P.O. addresses.
Express Shipping

Orders placed with Express Shipping Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) before 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT
will arrive within 2 business days, pending credit card authorization and verification.

Orders placed with Express Shipping Monday through Friday after 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT, or on weekends and
holidays, will arrive within 3 business days.

Express shipping to Rural Routes and remote locations typically arrive within 3 to 4 business days.

Express Shipping is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

Orders placed with Next Business Day Shipping Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) before 1:00 PM ET
/ 10:00 AM PT will arrive on the next business day, pending credit card authorization and verification.

Orders placed on weekdays after 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT, or on weekends and holidays, will arrive within 2 business days.

Next Business Day Shipping is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO
addresses, and certain remote locations.

Perfumes and colognes may not be available for Next Business Day Shipping.
Shipping Carriers
We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that may be used are: U.S. Postal Service
(USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx.
Delivery Time
If you're trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, consider the following:

Credit card authorization and address verification must be received prior to processing.

Express orders placed by 12:00 pm ET will ship the next business day.
U.S. Territories
Versailles.com ships to the following U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Marianas Islands, Puerto Rico, and
U.S. Virgin Islands. Normal standard shipping costs apply.
International Customers
We do not ship or bill orders internationally.
Multiple Shipping Addresses
You can only ship to one address each time you checkout. If you are shopping for people at different addresses,
you will need to place each order separately.
Address Validation
To ensure that your packages are delivered to the correct address as quickly as possible, we will compare any addresses
you enter with the U.S. Postal Service's database of valid addresses. We will identify any typos or errors in the address
you entered and ask you to accept the recommended changes or correct the address. If you are sure the address is correct,
you have the option to leave it as is, but this may cause delay in shipment.
Shipping GiftCards
There is no shipping and handling charge for a Versailles GiftCard unless you ship via express delivery. For your
protection, Versailles GiftCards ordered that are $250 or more will automatically be shipped with a signature required.
If you order a Versailles GiftCard for a lower denomination and would like to require signature, (310) 841-2680. Versailles
is not responsible for lost or stolen giftcards
Purchasing
Checkout
All the items that you have in your shopping bag appear in your order during Checkout. If you do
not want to order all the items, simply edit your shopping bag before clicking "Checkout." When
you click "Submit Order" we verify your credit card. Your credit card will not be charged until
your order is shipped. Your order will not be placed and your credit card will not be charged if
you do not click "Order Now."
Canceling an Order
If you would like to cancel or change an order that you've just placed, please call (310) 841-2680
as soon as possible. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request, however; items that
have already shipped cannot be cancelled and must be returned or exchanged.
Please note: if you cancel an item that qualified you for a promotion, you may no longer receive
that discount or promotion.

We are unable to accept checks, cash, or credit vouchers.

If we are unable to process your credit card, please check to ensure you entered the correct card
number and expiration date, and that the billing name and address you entered match your credit
card statement exactly. Please refer to your credit card company if the problem persists.
Can I buy as much as I want online
Not exactly. Our merchandise is not authorized for re-sale, so in order to enforce this policy,
online purchases are limited to ten (10) items per style, per customer. However, there may be
certain exceptions to this policy. Please contact us at (1-800-VERSAILLESSTYLE) to discuss your
bulk ordering needs. (Certain restrictions may apply).
Tax Policy

Tax is based on tax rates for your taxing jurisdiction (derived from the ship-to address being used for your order).

Tax is calculated at the unit-level, as some states offer tax exemptions and exceptions for certain apparel
items. Some of the items in your order may be taxable and others may be non-taxable. Likewise, some taxable items
may be taxed at a different rate than other taxable items in your order.

Tax is also applied to the shipping charges associated to the taxable items in your order.

If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the taxes you paid for that item.
You will not receive a refund for the taxes you paid on the shipping of that item, as the shipping charges are
nonrefundable once an item has indeed been shipped.
Versailles collects applicable taxes in all states except Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon.
Certain clothing and footwear items are exempt from tax when delivered to addresses in Connecticut, Massachusetts,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
We are required to collect tax on shipping and handling charges in all states except Alaska, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts,
Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Oklahoma and Vermont.
Please note that on-screen order totals reflect estimated tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect all
applicable taxes calculated at the time your order is shipped. If you have questions about the taxes on your invoice, please

Tax exempt purchases
If you are making a purchase for a tax-exempt organization, or are an individual that qualifies for a tax exemption, please
contact our Customer Service team at 1-800-VERSAILLES-STYLE.
To ensure compliance with state and local laws, all requested forms and information must be received and verified by our
Customer Service team before a purchase can be placed without tax.
Pricing policy
Our online merchandise prices typically match those of our U.S. stores, although there might be slight regional differences.
Please note: Prices shown are in U.S. dollars only. Currently, we do not ship or bill orders internationally, including Canada.
